Happy Paws is not your average dog boarding kennel but the area's newest state-of-the-art pet care facility designed to keep pets happy, healthy, and safe. Our professional team provides hands-on attention and loving care based on your pet's specific needs and your wishes.

As pet parents ourselves, we understand how difficult it is to leave your furry family member when you need to be away. That’s why we created the type of place that we would trust with our own pets, where every guest receives loads of love, attention, and exceptional care from a compassionate team of pet lovers who have received advanced training in dog body language, dog behavior, and pet safety.

From Puppies to Seniors – The Perfect Accommodations for Your Pet

From young puppies to senior pups and all those in between, we have designed our lodging packages to include playtimes and other engaging services tailored to the unique characteristics of each dog.

Lodging rates range from $54 and $99 per night, depending on the lodging package you select, whether your pup does group play or one-on-one activities, and the type of accommodation you select.
Dogs from the same family receive 10% off the nightly rate!

At the heart of Happy Paws is our compassionate and highly trained team of pet lovers who have chosen to follow their passion and make a career caring for pets. Our pet care team members complete training in dog body language, dog behavior, and pet safety, while our customer care team has undergone training to ensure we provide you, as pet parents, with an exceptional experience each time you visit. Your feedback is important to us as we partner with you in the lifetime care of your pets.

GROUP PLAY

If your dog enjoys being social and playing with other canine friends, we’ll match them with other dogs of the same size that share similar dispositions, playstyles, and preferences.
Our lodging packages include a variety of engaging interactions to ensure your pup acclimates quickly and feels comfortable with our team and the surroundings.

ONE-ON-ONE PLAYTIMES

We understand that some dogs prefer playtime with humans versus playing with other dogs, or they may not be spayed or neutered after 6 months, and that’s okay!
We have lodging packages that are tailored to our private play pups so they can enjoy plenty of exercise and personalized attention from our team.

WATER PARK

We are thrilled to offer OKC area pups a unique place to splash and play.
In the warmer months, your pet will enjoy cooling off as they run through hoops, play hide-n-seek around a gigantic tennis ball, or relax by the fire hydrant in our one-of-a-kind Happy Paws Splash Pad designed just for dogs!

ACCOMMODATIONS

When your dog isn’t busy playing or being spoiled by our team, they’ll sleep in a spacious suite on a comfortable raised bed with soft bedding.
Our suites vary in size and amenities, with some offering private outdoor patios. We provide fresh water, potty breaks, and housekeeping services throughout the day.

TREAT TIME

Treat time is a fun and engaging part of the day here at Happy Paws. Whether it’s an all-natural homemade treat or an entertaining treat-filled activity puzzle, your pup will look forward to treat time each day. Each time we give your dog a treat, that’s a bonding opportunity with your pet and our pet care team.

Health & Safety

Happy Paws is equipped with the most advanced technology and protocols for cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces. Instead of odorous indoor drains, which are breeding grounds for bacteria and germs, our central wet-vac system ensures that all soils and contaminants are automatically eliminated through outdoor drain lines, reducing inside moisture and improving indoor air quality.

Daily Wellness Checks

As soon as your pet arrives, we will conduct a pre-entry nose-to-tail evaluation and will perform a comprehensive wellness check each day of the stay to monitor and note any changes in behavior, appetite, eliminations, eyes, skin, and coat.

Food & Meal Service

We believe in keeping your pet on their own diet, and we’ll prepare each meal according to your instructions. We ask that you bag and label each serving separately to ensure they receive the same amount you feed them at home.

BELONGINGS

We’ve got you covered! There’s no need to bring bowls, beds, or toys. You are welcome to bring a small item with the scents of home, such as an old t-shirt, a small blanket, or a bath towel. Please refrain from bringing anything of significant value since we don’t want anything to be damaged or lost during our daily housekeeping and laundry services.

Lodging Essentials at Happy Paws

VACCINATIONS

For the health, safety, and well-being of each guest, we require that all vaccines are up to date, including:

Rabies
DHLPP
Bordetella
The Canine Influenza vaccine (CIV) is highly recommended

You will probably need to ask your veterinarian for the Bordetella and CIV vaccines, as they are not always part of a veterinarian’s standard protocol.

Arrivals & Departures

We recommend that you arrive no later than 3:00 PM to allow your dog time to get acclimated and enjoy some playtime and fun before dinner and bedtime.

On the last day, you may check out by 11:00 AM for no additional charge. After 11:00 AM, you will pay the daily Daycare rate.

MEDICATIONS

We take special care with medications and ask that you bring them in the original bottle with the veterinarian’s instructions listed on the bottle. There is a $3 charge for handling and administering up to two medications and a $5 daily charge for more than two. We do not administer insulin injections and recommend medical lodging to ensure a safe experience while you’re away.

We make bathtime a positive and fun experience; therefore, the prices listed may be slightly adjusted based on the condition of your dog’s coat and temperament during the service.
